Does Tiles Gone Wild have a showroom?

Yes, we have a showroom and are open to the public. You can stop in anytime or give us a call to schedule a meeting in the store. This is very handy if you are working on a large project or multiple areas because we can block off a specific time to work with you.

How soon can you get my tile?

Most tiles take 1-2 weeks to come in, some as soon as a day or two. Please let us know if you are in a rush and we can try and accommodate. We usually schedule 3-4 weeks out for installation after recommending you to expert installers. Occasionally, we can fit in small projects earlier. The spring and fall are our busiest times, please be aware that we are typically booked 5-6 weeks out during these times.

What type of payments does Tiles Gone Wild accept?

We accept cash, check, or any major credit card.

How long have you been in business?

Art opened Tiles Gone Wild in 2003.

Do you charge for estimates?

Once you have selected material in the shop, we are happy to recommend incredible installers. If you have an installer already, it is best for him or her to measure up your area. All installers generally have personal preferences on layouts and small details that can change the quantities needed. We do charge a small fee for insurance estimates but will put that money towards the job when you place the order.

What should I do to prepare my room for flooring installation?

Every area is different. Ideally, the room should be clean and clear of furniture. Make sure all appliances are properly disconnected or removed. All major carpentry or structural work should be done prior to installing your new floor.

Do I have to pay for my flooring before installation?

We do require a half deposit to order your material. The remaining balance is due upon completion or when the material is picked up. If the item is being custom-made or is here longer than 30 days, we ask for the material to be paid in full at that time.

Is there anything I need to do after installation?

Even with stain-resistant grout and tile, your areas should be cleaned on a regular basis to help them hold up for years to come. Most carpet manufacturers also recommend professional carpet cleaning every 18 months in order to maintain their warranty. Each area is unique and we are happy to go into more detail on your specific area.

Is there anything I need to do before I come into the store?

We always recommend you selecting your cabinetry and countertops prior to selecting tiles. We have thousands of options in the showroom and depend on your area, you will usually have fewer options to choose from in cabinets and countertops. For kitchens, you do not want the backsplash or floor tile to take away from the other elements in the room, they are there to compliment them.
